Quincy Maurice Enoch

March 29th, 1982 - March 22nd, 2025

To anybody out there in the daily struggle or not quite where you want to be in life. All you got to do is "KEEP IT MOVIN.” Just keep moving forward.

My great great grandparents were slaves.

My great grandparents were share croppers.

My grandparents were land owning farmers.

My parents Sarah Enoch and Anthony Enoch were American heros that served our country proudly in the Army. They didnt have the opportunity to go to college straight out of high school, but they got educated and gave me every opportunity to succeed in life.

I'm a Director of Legislative Affairs that knows my Congressman on a first name basis.

My 8 year old daughter just met our Congressman, and as God is my witness, will have every opportunity to have his seat in Congress if she wants it.

Your only responsibility is to "KEEP IT MOVIN".

About Quincy Maurice Enoch

Quincy Maurice Enoch, also known as "Q," "Pop" or "Babe," was born early Monday morning on March 29th, 1982, in Wurzburg, Germany to his mother, Sandra (Sarah) Enoch, & father, Anthony Enoch and he peacefully entered eternal rest early Saturday morning on March 22, 2025, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

His mother’s last military assignment relocated their family to Virginia where the family attended First A.M.E Church of Alexandria and at a young age Quincy gave his life to Christ. He was also a member of the music ministry and played the drums for the choir. He attended Hayfield Secondary High School and developed a love for football. As a true millennial, Quincy graduated High School in 2000 and went on to continue his education at Emory and Henry College, where he continued playing football. Quincy, feeling a strong sense of duty and service, followed in his parent’s footsteps by joining the US Army Reserve. While in school he was called up to Active Duty and served his country proudly during the Iraq war. Upon his return from active duty, Quincy transferred to Marshall University where he became a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and completed his studies in Political Science, preparing him for his future career as a lobbyist.

Quincy’s life transformed with the birth of his first child Isabella Enoch. Bella, as everyone knows her, was the apple of her Father’s eye from the day she was born, espousing his knack for negotiation and pushing boundaries. Quincy loved being a father and role model more than anything else in his life. He passed his knowledge and experience down to future generations, constantly wanting the same for Bella to “Keep Moving Forward”. Bella, reaching to achieve more, plans to study Political Science and follow in her father’s footsteps, with hopes for a career in politics after college.

Quincy eventually met the love of his life in Kelly Snyder on December 7, 2013, he knew he was a kept man when for his birthday in 2014, Kelly brought him a dinner of all his favorite things and gave him the remote so that he could spend the whole afternoon watching March Madness with her. Following 2 years of dating, Quincy finally convinced Kelly to say Yes and they were engaged on Christmas Day 2015. Kelly officially “jumped off the deep-end” and became an Enoch at their beautiful wedding on November 12, 2016. Quincy was so absolutely in love with Kelly that he serenaded her, and everyone in attendance, with not one, but three wedding songs during their reception as they danced the night away.

Quincy and Kelly were blessed once again with the birth of their child, Anthony Lincoln Enoch. Quincy was overjoyed to welcome Anthony to the world and made sure everyone knew how lucky he was - to include yelling "I'm going to be a dad again!" at the top of his lungs out the window of his car on 395 in the middle of morning rush hour traffic the morning he found out they were expecting. Anthony also quickly took after his father, with a love of sports, an infinite amount of energy and a desire to be just like his "Pop" – memorizing the exact phrases his dad used while talking on the phone.

Quincy never missed an opportunity to be involved in any sports his children wanted to try. He supported every endeavor and cheered them on from the sidelines whether it was T-ball, softball, volleyball, soccer, golf or swimming - always encouraging them to pursue what they loved. He also took very seriously his role in imparting fatherly wisdom upon them, teaching important life lessons such as cooking soul food, mounting a TV, car maintenance, and the joy of a perfectly manicured lawn.

Quincy's passion and zest for excellence in life was evident not only with his family, but also in his professional career. After graduation from Marshall, Quincy returned to Northern Virginia and began working for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) as a Legislative and PAC Assistant. He worked his way up from the bottom and rose to eventually become Associate Director of Legislative Affairs & Military Liaison. Following a successful 8 years at NAFCU, Quincy was recruited to become Federal Affairs Director at the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC). Quincy led major successes for NAMIC on Capitol Hill for 3 years before once again being sought after for bigger and better opportunities. Invariant was lucky enough to recruit him away from NAMIC in 2019 and he was an integral part of the firm as Co-Chair of the Economic Policy Practice and was a beloved team member, friend, and counselor.

In his spare time, Quincy volunteered and worked with causes that were close to his heart. A compassionate advocate, Quincy raised funds for Gold Star Families, through the Children of Fallen Patriots scholarship program, and mentored countless young professionals. Quincy was Executive Director of Financial Services Professionals, a career development and networking organization founded by Black financial services practitioners.

On Saturdays you would find Quincy going from a kids sports practice to the golf course to the poker table. And on Sunday, you could find him at National Community Church before he settled in for an afternoon of cooking (he was always testing out new recipes) and Atlanta Falcons football—although he would occasionally support the main women in his life and root for his mom’s Philadelphia Eagles or his wife’s Washington Commanders, if they weren’t playing his squad, of course.

If you ask anyone who knew Q to tell you a story about him, they’ll probably end up telling you one in which he: helped them in a way not many would, treated them to delicious barbeque—he was a Dizzy Pig BBQ CHAMPION, was an ephemeral host always opening his home to others, or gave them confidence to keep pushing through no matter what life served, or brought joy and life to every setting he was in.

Quincy was known for his kindness, his generosity, his strength, and most importantly his resilience to persevere no matter what life threw at him. He always, and we mean always, had a passion for life and a zest for creating beautiful memories with his loved ones.

He leaves his legacy with his wife, Kelly; his two children, Isabella and Anthony; his parents, Sandra (Sarah) and Anthony; his step-mom Gloria; his in-laws, Bob and Elaine; his siblings, Jamashia, Erin, and Simeon; his siblings-in-law, Matt, Beth, and Mike; his nieces, Gloria and Hannah; his nephew, Luke; and numerous Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins.

He was the heart of the Enoch family, believing in honesty, tough love, and Kindness. We commit to continuing his legacy through selfless actions and full hearts.
